                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF RIVERFRONT PARKWAY, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON FRIDAY,
                   SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY, MAY 14-16, 1993, FOR
                   THE "KIDNEY FOUNDATION PIG OUT ON THE RIVER"
                   SPONSORED BY THE KIDNEY FOUNDATION, UNDER
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                   
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Riverfront Parkway from Ross's Landing to
       South River Street from 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 14, 1993 to 2:00
       a.m. Sunday, May 16, 1993 for the "Kidney Foundation Pig Out on
       the River" sponsored by the Kidney Foundation, provided that the
       sponsor shall block Riverfront Parkway with flasher barricades,
       road closed and detour signs in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
